Additionally Lodges can sponsor children from local schools. Why not give your child the best possible start in life ~ ask about Vocational Guidances courses today!
What is the Vocational Guidance Course?
Young people attend Mooseheart for three days. They complete an aptitude test and have the benefit of a "One to One" interview with the Psychologist, Mr Brian Parkinson, who advises them about the kind of career they should pursue. A written report is also sent to their parents. Students attend interesting lectures including career options and advice on how to present themselves at interview and other subjects.
Members' children are privileged to have the opportunity to take part in the USA Vocational Guidance Programme which is at International Headquarters in Illinois. This is a nine month long programme, giving them practical experience in a range of activities; and their CV's certainly demonstrate that our Moose children stand out from others.
Many letters have been received over the years from attendees acknowledging the help they have received, in choosing their career from the Vocational Guidance Course at Mooseheart. The Vocational Guidance Course is a powerful tool in the realm of membership.
To attend the course is an opportunity not to be missed! YES, IT IS ALL FREE and part of the many benefits your children can receive from your membership of Moose International!
