The weather was kind for our 2010 Golf week, with the sun shining on us most of the time.
Our only set back was that on the first day Club Captin Sheila Cutler caught her foot in a rabbit hole and twisted her ankle
and as a result was not able to take part for the rest of the week. At our Annual General meeting Secretary Dave Parry and Competitions Secretary Bob Mayes were thanked for all their hard work on behalf of the club.
Thanks were also expressed to retiring President Eddie Westmorland,Shelia Cutler was re-elected as Captain and Kevan Randall was "elected" as the new President. The Thursday Presentation Dinner was a fitting ending to what had a most enjoyable week of golf and friendship. Player of the week was Dave Mccarthy who won two events and finished runner-up in anothe, a great way to follow last years "Hole in One".
